Asian Style Spicy Soup

My eyes and nose are watering like crazy as I write this yummy post.  If you follow my exact instructions you too will soon catch my drift.  If you enjoy spicy, mouth watering,  make your head perspire, kind of dishes, then this your meal ticket.

This is true comfort food to fill your belly and awaken your senses.  It’s low fat, high protein, and an immunity boosting bowl of goodness.  This fresh easy to make soup can be served over macaroni noodles, spaghetti noodles or white rice.

Prep time is about 20-25 minutes

Cook time is about 10-15 minutes or less if you heat on the stove as you’re prepping.

INGREDIENTS

Can of HOT (Habanero) Rotel  (can use fresh tomatoes)

chicken broth

cilantro

green onion

jalapeno

purple onion

celery

Ground turkey

clove of garlic

minced garlic

salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

On the stove pour into a large pot a whole quart of chicken bone broth. Put the burner on low and add one can of the hot Rotel.  Then cut up half a purple onion and about 5 green onions one or two sticks of celery.  Add this into the pot.

Chop into tiny pieces a whole jalapeño and one clove of garlic.  Finish with a hand full of fresh cilantro and add it to the simmering pot of goodness.

Begin to brown one or two pounds of ground turkey meat.  While browning, I add a little cumin, lemon pepper and minced garlic for added flavor.

Once the turkey is fully cooked and brown, add it to the now boiling or simmering pot of vegetables.  Turn it down on low and let it saturate and cook.

Boil your noodles or make some cilantro white rice.

Serve this soup/ over or with the noodles or rice.  It will be a family favorite. Finish with salt and pepper seasoning and ENJOY!

Keep in mind that during this crazy time, it’s important to keep your body fueled properly with nutritious foods.  This is a stressful time in our world and in our homes so it’s vital to feed yourself and your loved ones well.  Keep your body energized with exercise.  Give yourself one hour or a half hour at minimum to workout and get your mind off of the news.  Turn up the music and get after it.  My virtual program has been on the market for 4 years and has proven track record.
