If you are new to the TABATA format allow me to explain.

Your free to focus on form and pounding out the reps in each 20 second segment.

 Tabata is a boost.  It provides endurance and burn some serious calories.
 
WHAT IS IT?  Tabata is a timed high intensity interval training experience.
  • We will work in 4 minute segments.
  • 8 exercises in 4 minutes.
  • Each exercise will be done in 20 second increments with10 seconds to rest and prepare for the next exercise.
  • We will shoot for 10 to 11 rounds in 45 minutes.

Usually the first few rounds are rusty.  By rounds 3-5 your nice and warm.  Rounds 6-8 you start getting tired but keep pushing and do what you can!  Eye on the prize baby!
Don’t be scared!  You can work at your own pace!  It’s fast but so fun.

You will need a mat, a water, something to step up on (step stool, bench, sturdy chair, weights and a smile!


I’ll see you Friday at 10:30am. Try to be on time or a little early to see me demonstrate the exercises!
