Besides sitting in the sun, my only enjoyment during my 3 week long covid19 quarantine was combing the internet. I checked on everything from summer sundresses to dumbbells.
They say that the mind is a super powerful tool. In which case I kept my mind laser focused on inspiring FITness and travel essentials. My mantra became, shop and hope shop and hope to be well so we can take a family vacation.
Would you believe that I actually blew out a flip flop last week? This was practically permission to purchase a new pair of my all time favorite flip flops. The Havaianas! They are light weight and I really like the slim fit. I have a narrow foot so these fit my flat FRED FLINTONE feet perfectly.
The bright colors of these flip flops has me day dreaming about the beach! And something about the blue bottom makes a pedicure pop!
I figured the teen queen needed a fresh pair and let her select her pattern. She chose the Slim Tropical Sunset. I love these muted pastel colors.
On to eyewear! These purple sunnies are only $15.99. A steal I say. They look and feel uber expensive. I chose the purple/pink gradient tint but there are many other colors! HAVE THEM ALL AT THIS PRICE! I wasn’t sure how I was going to look or like the trendy flat lens but I think these work. (SPORTY CORE 10 CROP TOP) only $17
This black and gold pair of square shades would be a style change for me. I typically go for the aviator look. However I could not resist the black and gold! Only $16.99
A pricier choice was these odd shaped Ray Ban’s. The teen queen said this shape was the biggest fashion trend. OK I” give it a go. I honestly think that the shape isn’t so bad because these lenses are small enough. A little John Lennon wish but doable. YES?? NO?? Please weigh in!
I purchased these Guess sunglasses because I love gold and I like the fact they don’t have nose pieces. I can put them in my hair and not get it tangled in the nose pieces. I purchased mine from a local optical for $135 but these are the same but either in rose gold or black and gold and under $50.

The jean short and T shirt look is my jam. It’s so simple and basic but also classy! These days you can pull off a good pair of jean shorts anywhere anytime. These Lucky Brand shorts are only $39 and worth it. These are a mid rise cut off, slightly distressed and I’m wearing a size 25.
Like I said, my workout clothes a clean pair of sneakers are the first items in the bag! I’ll be toting these new. APL’s assuming they come in on time!
APL Athletic Propulsion Labs! These shoes are the rage of every FITness guru I admire. While I still don’t have a pair…I do admire The TECH LOOM IN CUPCAKE!!!How light and inspiring are these? I cannot wait for mine to come in!
This is only because the bright color block of the BAHAMIAN BLUE but it’s basically sold out in my 8.5! Take it away girls. I love the color block style!

This double zipper has ALL the compartments. I purchased two of these (one for me one for the teen queen) in store in the blush pink. The other color choices in store are blue and metallic gold! Our travel gear is worn and tired and needed an update. I dream of loading this up with facial creams and other essentials and getting the heck out of dodge!
