- PROTEIN – it’s a necessity to any lean clean FIT diet. Premier Protein shakes are awesome and by far my go to meal replacement. I buy them at Cost Co which is ccompletely convenient and hassle free. No messy powder to mix or fool with. It’s a quick grab and go for breakfast, lunch or pre-workout snack. Quest Bars are the bomb. Packed with fiber and plenty of protein to keep you full for two and half hours. GNC and Vitacost carry this brand. Tom Thumb also sells Quest but usually limited on flavors. You can never go wrong with eggs, turkey, grilled chicken, tuna and fish!
- WEIGHTS – working out with weights is mandatory. Did you hear that? lifting weights burns FAT. THE END! (no skirting this one)
- CARDIO – involves power walking, jogging, swimming, dancing, biking and or hiking. Burning calories for an extended period of time. Getting your heart rate up and challenging your limits. Work the hills and incline levels. Those wet droplets forming on your lip or brow…it’s called sweat. You’re welcome.
I’m not a proponent of fat burners and energy drinks because I have seen one to many back fire. I have ONLY EVER endorsed a pure organic supplement to be used for a short time as a kick-start.
