Go shorty….it’s my birthday….I’m going to party like it’s my birthday!
May 8th, aka my BIRTH date, to me has always signified the beginning of Summer. I still get excited to eat cake and celebrate with family and friends while also anticipating the end of school and beginning of an electrifying Summer. As a kid, I vividly recall always opening a “bathin suit” as one of my birthday gifts. So I come by the bikini honestly.
Today marks my 45th birthday and not a day goes by that I don’t thank the Lord for all of his grace and blessing.
I wish I could invite you all over for cake and champagne. I don’t like to leave people out so I wanted to be sure you do get in on some of the action. I turn big 45 and you get the benefit of the workout – poolside. You’re welcome!
I FIRMLY believe that exercise is vital to living a healthy lifestyle. Incorporating 30-45 minutes of activity into your day keeps the blood flowing and the skin glowing. Exercise improves the heart and circulatory system and I’m just getting warmed up!
6 week Virtual Training Program
FITogether offers two total body workouts a week for 6 weeks including instructional videos and meal plan.
How do I do it?
I workout at least 6 days a week. I do three days of heavy lifting and 3 days of movement exercises. I always use weights because lifting weight burns fat. It also builds lean muscle and keeps the saggy skin taut. Additionally I do some kind of cardiovascular activity such as spin, power walk or jog. I eat healthy and moderately clean. I go for the green and keep it in the high protein area. I drink a ton of water, sleep 8 hours a night, I eat low fat and that’s that.
The older I get the younger I feel. I’m no stranger to the creepy skin around my knees and the fine lines around my eyes. But baby you better believe that I’m going down swinging!
