Happy April 1st/fools day yall!
No way I’m quitting…I’m just warming up and revving my engine for the Summer heat wave.
I get super stoked about the Summer time. I love the hot air and the long days. I enjoy wading in the pool on a raft and reading a book. The weekly pace is slow and chill. The open door in and out policy of the teenagers is fun, exciting and always welcomed right up to the point of my bed time. (Sigh)
My bed time, of course, is not even close to the hours of a teenager on Summer break. They somehow become creatures of the night with ravenous hunger. I can sometimes hear them snacking and yacking like girls do. It’s awesome, four or more girls a night slumbering in one bed like sardines. I usually wake up to an unrecognizable messy kitchen and yet for some reason I can’t wait. Summer can’t come fast enough for me. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment.
